This is a well maintained, very clean 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL, mostly original with several performance upgrades: 1) Full Racing Beat Exhaust (RB header, Power Pulse presilencer and Power Pulse muffler). 2) Direct fire 2nd Generation ignition coils with 10 mm Magnacor coil and plug wires. 3) DOT approved stainless steel break lines. 4) Dual alternator pulley. 5) Aftermarket manual temperature gauge backs up the functioning stock electrical gauge. 6) Aftermarket Radio Shack power antenna goes up when radio is turned on, down when radio or car is turned off. CONDITION: 1) Mileage is 151,575 mostly highway miles. 2) Sunbeam Silver Metallic paint is mostly original, with metallic silver touch up on hood and roof. 3) No rust problems. 4) 12A rotary engine pulls strong, idles smoothly, no oil or coolant leaks, normal oil consumption, consistently returns 22-23 mpg. 5) Recently rebuilt Nikki carburetor with reconditioned and fully functioning rat's nest returns excellent fuel economy and throttle response. 6) Recent brake job including new rotors, pads and calipers front and back. 7) New Moog idler arm, outer tie rod ends and tie rod adjusters and locking nuts (inner tie rods, Pitman arm and manual steering box are all tight). 8) Recent oil change, oil filter, air filter and ignition tune up: New distributor cap, rotor and spark plugs. 9) Five-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly and runs quietly. LSD rear axle is in good shape, no whines or grinds. Recent gear oil changes for both. 10) Stock alloy wheels are reconditioned with new black accent paint and clear coat. Tires are Kumho Solus R21 Touring All-season with 50% tread remaining. 11) Windshield trim, door mirrors, windshield wipers and front and rear bumper trim all recently reconditioned to original black color. 12) Maroon leather interior is complete and in good condition, metal sun roof fully functioning. 13) Original stock Clarion sound system with 9 channel graphic equalizer is fully functional. 14) Power windows operate smoothly and close tightly. 15) All gauges, instruments and accessories function normally. 16) Rear wiper and washer aren't currently working but are easily reconditioned (I don't use them so not worth the trouble for me). 17) The ACV valve has been removed, the ACV port blocked off and the AC has been removed.
