This is a very nice survivor quality 1982 Datsun 280ZX 2+2 T-Top. It has low original mileage of 145K miles. These cars were the nicest and most technologically advanced cars of their day. This one is white with red interior, runs and drives great and could be put to use immediately as a cruiser. Exterior Has been repainted once but it is a good paint job, could use a good coat of wax and has some minor scratches here and there. It also has the normal minor rust issues that many of these cars had. The rear parts of the rocker panels on each side and just a little bit on the edge of the drivers side taillight. These areas are common to rust on these cars and is generally a simple fix. The paint is nice, has had one repaint but it was a good job. Wheels, chrome and all glass are very nice. It has brand new tires and all of the lights work. From ten feet, it looks like a new car. It could be shown as a survivor or daily driver. Overall I would rate it a 7 out of 10 Interior Has less than average wear and tear for the year and mileage. The drivers seat has some wear on the suede parts and overall the interior has some sunfading. It could use some minor detail work in some areas and the rear cargo area carpet is sunrotted some. Everything works as it should except the power mirrors and the automatic climate control. The little tray at the rear part of the shifter bezel is missing. If not for the sun fading, the interior would be almost mint. I would give it a 7 out of 10 Mechanically The engine runs great, tranny shifts perectly smooth. Has all new slotted and cross drilled rotors, all new calipers all around, and a new master cylinder. It drives perfect with no weird noises, rattles, or vibrations. Mechanically this car is in great condition. It also has a brand new tune up, tires, and battery. A full video of this car including a test drive can be seen here. For those that have asked if this car would make a long trip, this car is in great condition mechanically. I don't see any reason not to drive it as far as you want. Fly in and drive it home! On Jun-07-12 at 08:29:01 PDT, seller added the following information: As of 6-7-12 the A/C has been pumped down and recharged with R-134A and will freeze you out. The automatic climate control is a little finicky but it works great on most settings.
