Vehicle Detail
Immaculate 1950 Plymouth Deluxe, 3-Window, Business CoupeCalifornia Black Plate - Rust Free CarThis vehicle was restored in the late 1990's and has been driven sparingly since then. It has been garaged since restoration and has degraded very little. The paint is show-quality with the exception of a few random nicks/chips from usage. There is one small dent just behind the passenger wheel well and is barely visible. All chrome and stainless is very good to excellent quality. All glass is good as are rubber seals surrounding the glass.Interior is excellent, seats and door pannels were expertly and correctly redone. The headliner is original and could be replaced if it is important to the new owner. It is still servicable. The dash features it's original wood-grain finish in excellent condition. All guages function. The trunk still sports the original factory rubber mat in excellent condition. Mechanically, the car is sound and freeway-worthy. The tires are old and should be replaced if the new owner plans extensive driving. A new Optima battery was recently installed and the car cranks and starts easily with it's 6-volt system. The car maintains good oil pressure after highway driving and operating temperature is always cool. The winning bidder must deposit $500 within 24 hours of auction completion and the remainder must be paid within 48 hours thereafter. Paypal may be used for the depost but the balance must be paid by bank wire transfer or cash. All questions and inspections are encouraged prior to bidding on the vehicle. I am available to show this car at anytime. Post-auction is not the time to ask questions or raise objections about the condition of the car. Bids will not be accepted from buyers with a feedback less than "5" without consulting the seller first.
