Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback. It was a restoration project that I bought about 5 years ago, and I have worked on it little bits at a time, but truly have never had the time needed. I am one of the busiest guys ever, and I don’t have time/money now, nor do i think I will in the near future anytime. Also, this is a Coupe-Converted fastback. This was done by a company before i bought it. The VIN is a coupe, but it has everything unique to a fastback. It has a clean title. This was all done nicely and everything lines up, windows fit, doors are perfect, everything. Wasnt an issue for me, for i was not looking for a numbers-matching car. I have made the very tough decision to sell it.. It’s a shell. Stripped down to the metal, and has some rust. All of the rust is panel rust, there is no damage to the frame. I have started on the engine compartment, have taken out the battery tray and radiator core support. I have new ones ready to be welded in. The drivers side quarter panel was cut off before I bought the car. Here is a list of the parts I have bought and need to be welded in. Battery Tray, Radiator core support, Drivers floor panel, drivers and passenger floorboard-to-firewall extensions, both door skins, both quarter panels, and both fenders. These are all pre-fab parts that I have purchased from a company called paddock parts. They have since closed. I have also started on the motor. I have a 429 block that I have had bored out .010 over, and fully machined and cleaned. It has the crank and brand new hyper-eutectic pistons. I have not purchased a top end for it. Ran out of time and money. It’s a big project, but a perfect project, and very cool. I wish I could finish it, but I need the money, and I wont have the time. I would rather see someone relaly put the time and effort into it that it needs. Int the main picture, i have mocked up all of the body panels so you can see what i have. The rest of the pictures are the current condition. Thank you for looking
