Vehicle Detail
All Original California TR6 Carmine Red 13419 miles 1974 Go back in time as if you were buying this 1974 Carmine Red TR6 4-5 years new. The Body fit and finish is impeccable, straight and true, the interior is aging gracefully and behind the factory stone guard rubber coating on the rocker panels the original factory paint looks like it were new. You look underneath and the floor panels are the original red factory paint dusty from occasional use. I drove this car from San Fernando Valley to the Bay area in 2006 for 350 miles of endless fun and astonishing reliability. Since then only a few local trips to Napa and Sonoma. The car revs freely and accelerates with gusto to redline without unpleasant experiences. The TR6 has lived only in dry climate, in California and garaged under storage blankets part of a collection, Always starts the first time, rarely driven -just as needed in order to preserve the original integrity. Documents from California Division of Motor Vehicles and previous owners Docs read 8,381 miles in Feb 2000 and well recorded since. Previously the original Blue plate was surrendered in favor of a personalized one to commemorate the cars Marque. From http://www.bowtie6.com/repairs/paint.htm On the TR6, all of the body panels are painted the primary body color, including the engine compartment, bulkhead under and behind the dashboard, the floors, interior of doors, area inside the trunk, light recesses, etc. (Basically, the whole body, stripped, was painted body color.) On 1969-1976 (all) TR6s, the rear valence inside of the "body ridges" was then painted semi-flat black, including the rear of the trunk (boot) lid. This paint was also applied over body color. On 1970-1976 TR6s, the windshield surround was painted semi-flat black, instead of body color as on the 1969 TR6. On 1969-1976 (all) TR6s, undercoating was applied in all four wheel wells, over body color. This undercoating (stone guard rubber) was also applied to the rocker panel area from the front wheel well to the rear wheel well. The undercoating was a semi-flat black in color, and was not painted -- the material itself is semi-flat black throughout. Alternator, Electronic contacts and solid state relays & accessories replaced with original factory specification. Recent and previous pictures are a testament to the cars pedigree. Tonneau cover and top boot included. They don't come often like this...For further inquiries and documents 925-699-3710
