Up for auction is a true survivor, I have a running and driving 1947 Ford 2DR sedan with 51,000 showing on the working odometer. I’m not saying that’s the true mileage but it seems to be considering the great condition the car it in. This car is in great shape for its age, the body is rock solid with some light surface rust in some spots and some small dings on it. The 6 cylinder flat head runs great and the transmission shift good with a good clutch, drive train is all quite when driving. I did the fowling work on the car, installed a new master cylinder, rebuilt all the wheel cylinders, installed new brake shoes, grease all bearings and front end. Did a 12 volt conversion on it, new generator, regulator, and light bulbs, motor wiring harness, starter relay, installed new blinkers and converted over the gages and all work. It has a rebuilt fuel pump and carb on it with some new copper fuel line installed. I all so installed a new clove box in it with a locking key. This car passed its N.S.R.A safety 23, it runs and drives good windows roll up and down and the wipers work too. This car makes a good driver as is or a great car for a street rod project.
