Up for sale is a nice 1986 Isuzu Space Cab Diesel, 5 speed, 2WD Model Please read the following for a thorough description as well as requirements for purchasing the vehicle I require $1000 deposit to be made thru PayPal at the end of the auction - if you fail to do so, I will allow the next highest bidder the vehicle. I require the balance of the purchase price to be made within a week of the close of the auction - bit will hold the SUV for 30 days free of charge until it can be picked up. Please watch the following video of the Pup Spacecab - cranking and a walkaround This Pup is in overall good condition. The motor has just turned 190,000 on the odometer. It has the ultra reliable Isuzu 2.2 Diesel that has been known to give over 500,000 miles of service. What other truck can you get that will give mid 30 to high 30 mpgs? This is a professional conversion. The drivetrain came from a Chevy Luv diesel - its entire wiring harness was pulled and placed into the 1986 Isuzu Pup. As you can see by the pictures and the video the body is straight and rust free - except for the minor areas noted in the pictures and video - front passenger fender having surface rust and passenger side bed floor having very minor rust pinholes. The interior is also in better than average condition with uncracked dash, moderate wear on the drivers seat, minor wear on the passenger seat and rear seats that appear unused, clean cargo area, all clean - crack free glass - except for 8-10" crack on drivers side of windshield. This Spacecab has the LS options including the rare center console, factory sunroof, cargo area security shade still in tact, extra center gauge cluster, carpeted door panels, and double walled bed. Sound comes from a brand new Pioneer AM / FM CD player and is adequate. Front windows roll up an down properly - rear flop out windows open and close as they should. Power Steering works as it should with no leaks. 5 speed transmission shifts thru all 5 forward gears an reverse as it should. Engine has good power, good oil pressure, idles smoothly and does not have blowby. Injection Pump does not leak. There is also a handy towbar mount under the front bumper and a factory bloack heater. The engine has also had a recent timing belt replacement, newer hoses, belts, filters (oil and fuel), glow plugs, fluids, etc. This truck is ready to serve somebody well for many years to come. There is really nothing wrong with it at all - but I have tried to think of any little thing that may concern the future buyer and have listed them below The bad is as follows: Passenger fender has a section of surface rust as large as your hand and a small dent on the very front corner where the fender meets the hood - there is also a spot where an auxiliary antena used to be mounted Paint is all original but has some oxidation on the hood and roof - no showroom finish, but very good for a 26 year old truck Tires are in good shape but are a non matching set Voltmeter, Oil Pressure and Clock are not funtioning - as mentioned earlier, the entire wiring harness was swapped when the diesel engine was installed - but these are not functioning - all other gauges are in perfect working order - fuel, temp, speed, odometer There is no A/C - truck did not have air but the transplanted engine does have an A/C compressor on it - but with front windows down and rear windows open, the vehicle gets quite a bit of airflow circulating Sunroof has been caulked shut - previous owner informed me that he did not like sunroofs - however it does not leak and the caulk can be removed and a new gasket can still be obtained from Isuzu - around $100 - I can put you in touch with the man who still gets Isuzu parts for these trucks from the factory. If I have left anything out, please ask and I will try to post an answer for all to see as quickly as possible. This would be an awesome first vehicle, commuter truck, farm vehicle, etc....
