Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 37,343 original California Miles 1977 Oldsmobile Omega (Same as Chevy Nova). It is a VIN code L and has a Chevy 350 V8 (not the rocket 350) & Turbo Hydromantic 350 Automatic Transmission therefore part are available anywhere at low prices. It also has the GM 10 bolt 8.5” rear end. The car runs and drive like new and since it has new high flow cat & glasspack, it sounds awesome. Omega is a clone of Chevy Nova so lots of restoration parts are available from Classic Industries. The car speaks for it self. As it can been seen in the pictures, the car still has the factory paint on the entire floor of the car and trunk pan. It still has factory paint marks on spindles and factory stickers on the leaf springs and sway bar. The dash board and rear deck looks brand new and does not have a single crack. The seats have no tears either. Just look at the pictures and you will see how good of condition this car is. The paint on the sub-frame is coming off but has no rust at all. It has never seen snow or bad weather. This car is 35 years old so it is not perfect so please don't expect a new car for few grand. The car is being sold as is. There are small dents on the passenger side fender and drivers side quarter panel. There are few areas where the paint has chipped. The AC compressor has broken clutch but I am including a brand new clutch and the factory repair manual. I have all original parts that I took off such as air pump, air cleaner, EGR Valve etc... which I will include with the car. - New Tires (including new full size spare) - New water pump - Quadra Jet Carburetor rebuilt - New double row timing chain gear set - All new radiator & heater hoses - New single piece oil pan gasket - New aluminum transmission pan with drain plug - Coolant flushed and filled - ATF fluid flushed - drained and filled 5 times - Brake fluid completely flushed - New high flow cat - New glass pack - New Belts With the quality of this car, I believe I have set a very reasonable starting bid price. I have a clear Indiana title in hand and will require a $1,000 deposit due from the winning bidder within 72 hours of the auction end and full payment within 7 days of the auction end. The car is for sale locally so I do reserve the right to end this auction at any time. Winning bidder is also responsible for pickup or delivery. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me through eBay. Thanks for looking and happy bidding. On May-29-12 at 15:26:45 PDT, seller added the following information: I have very extremely rare 4th generation Omega (Nova) clutch pedal & linkages to convert this car to a manual transmission. For additional $500, I will include a clutch pedal, z-bar & linkage, bell housing & fly wheel, clutch fork, drive shaft & a 3-speed manual transmission. Theses part came from a 77 Nova (with Inline 6) and I have been told that the bellhousing & flywheel will bolt up to the 350 V8. I have a copy of my California Car Title (with plate number) which I will show to the highest bidder the proof that the car was from California. I will give the Blue California Plates to the highest bidder. I forgot to mention that the spark plugs, plug wires & distributor cap & rotor are new also.
