This vehicle has been in the family since '87 when it was purchased from the original owner, then parked in Arizona until I brought it to California a year ago. Divorce forces sale. The car was complete but most of the exterior plastics and interior were badly sun damaged. As you can probably imagine, none of those items are available to purchase. I removed, repaired, and repainted most everything on the exterior of the car while making effort to retain the original paint. I wanted it to be a driver, not an all stock trailer queen. I have modified things with 1st and 2nd gen rx7 parts, as they are more readily available. Engine- '85 gsl-se 13b with mild streetport. '88 rx7 s4 injection/ecu, oil cooler.Trans- original cosmo 5-speed.Exhaust- '88 rx7 manifold/cat assembly, with new cat back system and muffler/silencer.Suspension/brakes- stock cosmo 4 wheel disc.Wheels- aftermarket 70's cyclone style, redrilled to fit cosmo bolt pattern.Seats- '88 rx7 front. Still have originals also New parts include:Aluminum radiator, water pump, (4) injectors, clutch set, flywheel, air cleaner, fuel cell, fuel pump, e-fan controller, oil pressure and water temp gauges, carpet. Modifications:Lower dash panel modifed for gauges and 2din stereo, covered in carbon fiber film.
