This is our 1965 FORD ECONOLINE, this should be considered a step above just a "project" vehicle as it does run and drive, just needs the obvious cosmetics. This van is well above average condition for the year but will require some spots of minor rust repair and cosmetic restoration. Please read all details, ask any questions BEFORE bidding and keep in mind you are bidding on an unrestored van that is close to 50 years old GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY! This auction has NO RESERVE, high bid takes it home. If winning bidder is in Southern California, I can assist with delivery, I also deliver to the shipping terminals in the Los Angeles area on a weekly basis. Please take the time to view the detailed pictures, I am very thorough when shooting and describing a vehicle and make every effort to catch as much detail as possible! DETAILS: Cosmetically, the body of this Ford is complete and very straight with the exception of the dent just above the windshield (see pic) and the following spots that will need rust repair- driver door corner, lower windshield corner, panel below rear left door, very small spots on passenger doors (see detailed pics). The floors and undercarriage are very solid and very clean. One side window is cracked and will need replaced, left door mirror glass needs replaced. The interior is only missing the glove box knob otherwise complete and not really much to it, dash and all original factory components are in excellent condition. Floor has already been "Rhino-Lined" and is in excellent shape. Mechanically, this Econoline has the original 240 engine, runs perfect, I would still do a full service as it has been stored for a bit. The manual trans and clutch shift smooth and on cue. Very mechanically sound van. I have in hand the clean and clear California title/ownership certificate on this Ford. If the van stays registered here in California the registration renewal fees will be 194.00 thru August 2013. I will have the van stored inside until buyer arrives or we deliver it.
