Vehicle Detail
This is a true barn find, I have pics. I literally found this car in a barn after it was sitting for 8 years. Rust free, H code Mach 1. I am the 3rd owner of this car. Original rebuilt motor with upgraded Edelbrock intake, Holley 4 barrel carb, cam, and headers. New rebuild on 4 speed toploader with hurst shifter, new clutch. Sale includes original FMX auto trans. I have pulled all the interior parts and repainted or replaced. Interior is awesome with custom gray and black cloth inserts in seats. Passenger seat has three small separations in fabric (see pics). Grant GT steering wheel. Everything works except the temp guage (I haven't tried to fix). I could not find front pillar post plastic pieces so they are cracked but repainted. Needs new headliner. Paint is fair, still shiney, with new Mach 1 stripes all around. Original color is medium blue metallic. Second owner changed it to yellow. There are only a few scrapes or door dings and a nickel sized chip on the rear deck lid (see pics). Black in center of hood is faded but not bad. Brand new 14x7(front) 14x8(rear) magnum 500 wheels on tires with 50% tread. New battery, alternator, voltmeter, distributor, and all fluids changed. This is an A/C car but the belt was not on it so I don't know if it works. New exhaust gaskets and chrome tips, exhaust is tight and sounds great. This is not a show car, it is a complete high end driver condition car. I drive it to work a few days a week, 30 miles round trip, Dependable. It is manual choke so it is cold natured but after warm up it never stumbles. I have a new project so I'm selling her. Perfect for daily driving or a complete restoration. Reserve is set at low to mid range retail. I have invested $4,000 in the last few months plus a a hundred hours of labor. Also included are original dog dish hubcaps, steering wheel, console, FMX transmission, and some new front end parts (coil overs) that the 2nd owner never installed. Buyer responsible to make arrangements for shipping. As-is sale.
