This truck was a daily driver by the previous owner. The truck runs good and shifts out like it should. The carb is brand new and the manual choke works like it should. The truck can be cold natured and the carb might need adjusted to make it start easier. However the truck starts, runs, drives, and rides very well. The engine does not smoke or have any major leaks or noises. There is a very small exhaust leak at the manifold on the passenger side. It seems to go away when the engine is warmed up. This truck does not have A/C The paint looks decent up close and the truck looks good from 10 feet back. There is minimal rust on this truck considering its age. For the most part the body is straight and solid. There are a few small places that have been repaired and I tried to get pictures of everything I found. There is some surface rust on the steering and suspension on the truck simply because it is 40+ years old. There is no serious rust on any of these components. The floorboards and the cab look to be solid for the most part. The gas tank is in the factory location and does not leak. There is a locking gas cap installed. This truck would be a great candidate for a full restoration, or simply tinker with it and drive it on the weekends! This truck is far from perfect, and its not without its flaws, but the previous owners have given you a head start on a head turning, attention getting, piece of American history!!! These trucks are becoming very hard to find in decent condition!! I have set my reserve very low compared to what other trucks are selling for. Please inspect this truck in person prior to bidding. I can not be responsible for inspecting a vehicle to everyones standards! That would be impossible. This is a 40+ year old truck that still needs some work to make it "nice".
