Unfortunately it is time to sell the best car I have ever owned. Between having our first child and moving it's just not going to work for us to hold on to this 928. The history of this car deserves some detail. I purchased it from a friend of mine in who owns a leasing company in 2003. It was formally his personal car but had recently leased it to another good friend of his when he found a clean 928 with a manual transmission. His friend apparently got into some personal trouble and returned the car to the leasing company and I jumped on it. I had admired it for years and finally had the opprtunity to own it. I have babied it for years in a climate controlled garage and kept it somewhat perfect. In the past 5,000 miles I have replaced the water pump, belts, mass air flow sensor, air filter and battery. It has a Nakamichi 6 disc in dash CD changer driven by an Alpine amplifier and Boston Acoustic speakers that are all professionally installed without modification to the center console or speaker pods. I rarely listen to the stereo (although it sounds amazing) because I really love listening to the sound of this car as it rolls down the road. It runs, brakes and idles like a new car. It is comfortable and fast. However there is no room for a child's car seat in the back.
