BEAUTY AND A BEAST I'm selling my baby. I've enjoyed this 2005 mercedes e55 amg since the day i purchased it. It has been a great performing vehicle. A serious head turner with plenty of high dollar and high performance upgrades. I purchased it stock (which was fully loaded with all options from mercedes including, but not limited to panoramic roof, push button start, rare two tone leather, dynamic seat control and active ride control). I since have sent the vehicle to GMP Performance in Charlotte NC to have all the performance upgrades installed (17k worth)(including Kleeman supercharger and crank pulley kit, Kleeman headers (two cats removed), Carbonia intake tubes with carbon fiber engine covers (increasing air intake), limited slip differential (this helps put the 595hp to the pavement), sprint booster (with normal, street performance and race settings), Kleeman cold-air intake filters, and the ecm was sent out to be tuned just for this car. This company is well known for its superior work and choices in upgrades. They actually have an 06 e55 as one of there shop cars. Some of the options this e55 have include dynamic seat control (when engaged, the seats inflate in turns to hug you in to prevent you from sliding in your seat). Push button start (you can have the key in pocket and approach, unlock, start, and then lock car without removing it from pocket or purse. Rare two-tone black with merlot inserts (beautiful color scheme). Panoramic glass sun-roof (with dual observation ports for drives and rear passengers. Large screen navigation. Special AMG racing wheels (very hard to find on any 05 e55) These are just a few of the extra options on top of the tons and tons of options that come on all the e55's. This mercedes is a manufacturer buy-back. It was sold to the second owner as a certified pre-owned, which in California allowed the customer to return vehicle after having the same issue 3 times. Mercedes purchased the vehicle from the second owner, repaired and resold vehicle. I believe this occured around 60k and the issue (which was conveyed to me as being some sortof charging issue. The previous owner and I have never had any issues with this. Besides the 90k service, brand new michelin tires, performance upgrades, and normal oil changes. The only issue I have had is the replacement of fuel pump/sending unit (not do to failure but a smell in the cabin of gasoline. My local Mercedes dealer replaced these parts and no other issues have occured. The interior is in great condtion. Leather is in great shape, suede headliner is also in great shape. See pics. The exterior is in very good condition. There are a couple minor scratches and chips on front bumper (lower cowling) But for its mileage overall this mercedes paint is in great shape. The car is a California/Arizona car. Its spent one year in North Carolina. Ive always garaged kept this vehicle like all my vehicles. Ive enjoyed my time with it and im moving on to my next toy. Freshly service and ready to go. Brand new Michelin tires with nitrogen. Please note the rear defrost does not work (previous window tint removed and broke window strip defrost connection) as far as I know this is the only problem I am aware of.
