Up for Auction is my 1966 Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastback. The Vin # 6R09T137610. Originally a 200ci inline 6cyl with auto trans, Vintage Burgundy exterior with Black interior. This car was built and San Jose and from California. Which is probably why the frame is so solid. I have had this Mustang in a restoration shop the past couple months for some rust repairs. Both full length floorpans and seat risers were welded in and replaced. Then rust preventative sprayed inside. The rest of the car is really solid! - Solid front frame rails and shock towers - The cowl doesn't leak - The floorpans are new - The rocker panels are rust free - The trunk floor is solid - The rear frame rails are solid. The car pretty much has all the interior such as the fold down rear seat, trap door and most of the fiberglass panels. It is missing the upper corner fiberglass panels ( they are on ebay all the time ) and missing the thin molding that separates the top and bottom fiberglass panels. All of the glass is in the car now and so is the suspension and steering. No Engine or transmission currently. This is an excellent solid project car that is mostly complete and would be a great basis for for someone who wants to build a Mustang Fastback to their own taste. I tested the cowls by pouring a bucket of water into the cowl and no leaks into the interior. Plus when ever it has rained I have never seen any water in the interior.
