1989 ford festiva L runs & drives. has lots of new parts. brakes tires plugs wires cap rotor belts exhaust & valve adjustment etc........ CAR IS BEING SOLD AS IS FOR PARTS.... was a daily commuter car that drove 4 of us from honesdale,pa to kenilworth, nj (FAITHFULLY) 240 miles round trip.... now for the bad: car runs great at idle & while parked at high rpm's but once you put it in gear & let go of the clutch it wants to stall out. when you do get it on the road 1st & 2nd gear buck real bad 3rd & 4th gear seems to drive smoothly. i replaced the carburetor fuel filter vacuum lines etc to try & correct the issue but had no luck. i have a few friends that have the know how to fix a car & they say it could be a timing issue or could need a clutch adjustment . i do not know if that is the fix to this problem. ( i am not a mechanic). car has rust,scratches & dents, the hand brake broke on me. (could be a cable) car no longer has a radio. once again the car is being sold as is for parts!! this car is not at the present a driving vehicle or i would still be enjoying the 40 mpg that this festiva gets.. so do not come here & expect a perfect vehicle because you will be disappointed. extras included in sale are 2 studded snow tires & 2 all season tires ( without rims) 1 full spare on rim & 1 donut tire & rim. a bucket of carburetors & misc parts. come & take a test drive for yourself so there are no "SURPRISES" call/text me at 1-407-446-4860 from 4:30 am - 8:30 EST (only). car is located at a business & can be driven in a parking lot only because its no longer registered or insured. TERMS OF SALE: car will NOT be released to the buyer until all funds have been cleared & title has been transferred.
