1972 International Harvester Scout

Manual

1972 Scout II 4x4 with a V-8 and manual transmission. Parts vehicle sold as is. Not driven in five years. Changed oil to synthetic and got engine running, but have not compression tested. Blew some smoke, but held idle. Cannot be driven due to no clutch and inoperable brakes. Exhaust leak at manifold. Keys are stuck in ignition, but comes with a spare steering column that includes keys. Most electric appears to be functioning but have not tested everything in the vehicle. Gas tank is dented and there is a leak at the collar, but can use a hose to bypass and it holds gas. Newer tires, everything is there for the transmission and 4x4 but condition is unknown. Good solid frame, holes in front and rear floor pans, doors do not close due to inner fender rust, not water tight. Previous owner painted over original paint; top coat gone and has scratches/dents. Top was also painted with black laquer paint and has large eyelet screws installed so that top could be hoisted (hoist not included). Split seams in seats. Battery not included. Previous owner installed after market fuel pump in engine bay. Purchased as parts vehicle and have not driven. Title is clear; never transferred it into my name when I purchased the vehicle so is signed from previous owner with buyer portion left entirely blank. Local inspection (by appointment) encouraged prior to bidding. Local pick-up or buyer must arrange shipping. Vehicle is also for sale locally and reserve right to end auction early if sold.
