This is a Grey Market Mercedes 280 SEL. Vin Number is WDB1260231A17984 They were never sold here in the US this car was brought over to drive dignitaries around NY. The car got traded in a Mercedes dealer where My wifes Uncle worked he called her dad and he bought it for her mom. She has since passed away and we inherited the Car she took fairly good care of the can and maintaince. But as she got older she let some of the little things go . Over all it is a nice car and would make somebody a really nice one if they took the time to fix it up. It does need the exhaust to be redone It was low on power and My mechanic said it was due to a plugged Catalytic converter . And some of the Wood grain is coming off of the dash . But the Seats and the rest of the interior are still in great shape. All the windows as well as the sunroof and the Vacuum assisted locks work. The car cranks and drives . We have a clean title in hand and I would trust driving the car anywhere. The Body is in good shape but the paint is faded and needs to be waxed. It does have 3 small rust places on the hood but they are just in need of a little touch up paint.
