1985 Dodge Ramcharger Prospector, vehicle has been converted from a 5 lug axle setup to an 8 lug heavy duty axle front and rear. Smoke free interior no major dents beside the rocker panel under the driver's door previous owner most likely tried to go over something and couldn't t. A 6 inch lift has been added and 36" Irok Super Swampers with Mickey Thompson rims to take you wherever you need to go. The interior shows its age but is the original fabric the back of the front seat did not have the fabric so it just shows the foam and springs not a huge issue for what the truck was used for, daily driver and hauling a boat. Has a strong 318 motor with Doug Thorley headers and custom dual exhaust running right in front of the rear tires for the purpose of not putting exhaust on whatever your towing and it looks cool too. The gauges work but I installed a three gauge setup for more accurate reading of what's going to in the engine bay the usual the voltage oil pressure and temp, has an aftermarket stereo system with aux plug in for an IPod and remote control with it. I've replace a few components from a new alternator, replace the two core radiator with a 4 core installed a fan shroud water pump and hoses upper and lower along with the thermostat. I recently installed the air conditioning system as this truck did not have one but haven't got around to getting it charged to use it yet. The blower for the heating and air works just needs a resistor for the fan speed installed the old one is shot and stays on low no matter what setting you put it on. The truck like previously mentioned as a tow vehicle has a tow package with a large transmission cooler installed. Speaking of the transmission a new transmission $1700.00 was just recently installed as the torque convertor took a dump on me and possibly ruined the rest of the tranny I took no chances of ever getting stuck again and just replaced the whole component. This vehicle was a barn find and I've put a lot of money into it to even get it this far and I hope someone can add on where I left off.
