Nice 1966 Ford Mustang coupe for restoration or custom project. This car was originally a 6 cyl. 3 speed but now has a 351 V8 with a c-4 automatic transmission. This car is not running or driveable at the moment. The v8 conversion has been started but is not complete. The 351 motor in the car is a 351 Cleveland 2bbl, which is not running and has the heads and intake removed, but come with the car. The second motor included with the car is a 90's 351 Windsor motor, no manifold or fuel injection is included. The C4 needs a bellhousing, the conversion to the automatic is not complete. This car is a R code San Jose' California built with a Los Angeles California DSO. This car spent most of its life in El Paso Texas, and still wears the Texas inspection sticker on the windshield, and the Fort Bliss sticker. Door tag reads 65A = 2 door hardtop, standard interior. R = Ivy Green Metallic, 26 = Black crinkle vinyl, standard interior, 19G = July 19, 1966, 71 = DSO-Los Angeles, 3 = 3.20:1 conventional axle, 1 = 3 speed manual. This car has a clear Kansas title signed by the previous owner. I purchased this car in Oct. of 2011 in hopes of building a red GT clone, but now are moving back out of state. I was told the car was driven up to Kansas and spent winters garaged, then the v8 conversion was started. The interior seats have been converted to velour. This Mustang is one of three I own and I purchased it because of it's southern dry snow and salt free life. This car is 90% rust free and is an excellent restoration candidate and not a rusted basket case. It will need some metal work and is not 100% rust free. If you are looking for a nice solid car with minimal metal work to be done, this is the car. I really hate to sell it because cars in this shape are hard to find. It will need to be trailered or you can use a dolly like I did since the driveshaft is removed and in the trunk. The extra 351w is on an engine stand, not included, and I will help with loading into a truck bed. I will also help with loading the car. Shipping and costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. This car is void the side emblems and has the air cleaner stating Sprint 200, so it is possibly one of the special Sprint 200 cars. Also included is the power steering pump reservoir and bracket from the 351w as well as a carton of belts, and pulleys.
