1941 Packard Custom Convertible

Here we have a 1941 Packard roadster custom Darrin look a like. Take a good look at the pictures and you will see this car has huge potential. The windshield is a great 40’s boat windshield used for many customs minus its straight glass. All of the bulk of the bodywork is done. The fender seams have been filled and the rear fenders modified with skirts (included). The original drive train is there but I have not checked to see if it is free. Most, if not all body rust (?) has been repaired as needed, how well I can’t tell you since I have not done a thing to the car. I can see the floor has been replaced and seems serviceable What I know is missing is the glove box door, the grille teeth, front bumper, and seat. Possibly more. There seems to be part of a simple top mechanism. My guess is the car was originally a coupe but the front cowl where the windshield stanchions mount has been very nicely done. There is a lot of work to be done but what a high dollar car when finished. If I were to keep this car, I would change the door tops to flow more like the Darrin, not a difficult task.
