When is the last time you saw a 1970 AMC Rebel Wagon, much less a super clean example of one? Here you go! This car was built in Kenosha, WI and is currently the only running 1970 Rebel wagon in Kenosha, WI that I know of. I don't really want to let it go, but I have way too many projects and the herd needs to be thinned. I would like to see this car go to someone who will give it the attention I don't have time to. Factory two tone, bitter sweet orange and white exterior with tan interior.Recently rebuilt 304 V8 with vintage Offenhauser dual port intake and new Edelbrock 4BBL carb. The ignition system has been upgraded with a Pertronics Ignitor electronic ignition system.New dual exhaust with stainless steel tips and glass packs.Recently rebuilt B&W auto transmission with aluminum case.Barts 15x7 wheels with new Hankook 225-70 series tires.New windshield... This is a big deal because 1970 Rebel windhsields are NO LONGER AVAILABLE!Mechanically sound, you can drive this anywhere. I have driven the hell out of this wagon for the past three summers.There are a couple small rust pinholes in the floor about 3/16 in diameter. Absolutly no structural rust. Frame rails are rock solid. The worst spot is the panel behind the rear bumper. It is rusty and has a silver dollar sized hole.GOOD NEWS...I have all the NOS sheetmetal to repair this rust!Power steering, Manual brakes.AM/FM radio I replaced the tail gate last year with an NOS gate and NOS hinges. Paint appears original. It shines up nice with a buffer, but does show it 42 years of age.Lots of patina, many knicks and dings.
