This family owned and documented car was purchased new by my father in Indianapolis in 1968. He died in 1981 and the car has been kept by the family pretty much in storage except for the occasional drive ever since. I am the second family member to have the car and I have had it for about 2 years now. I am not mechanical so I have sadly decided to sell it to someone who can appreciate it. The car is a stock 442 with a Hurst 4-speed and the 400 cu. in. engine. The interior was redone in the 1990s, and the rear quarter panels were replaced. The majority of the car still has the original lacquer. The original parts that have been replaced are the front drum brakes, the quadrajet carburetor, and the steel wheels with hub caps. It now has a 650 Edelbrock and an Edelbrock aluminum manifold, front disk brakes, and nicely redone 14 Ralley wheels from a 1978 442. I still have most of the original parts including the Quadrajet, the original wheels and hub caps, the drum brakes, and a box full of the original interior parts like arm rests and window cranks. It comes with a stock 4.11 limited slip rear end. The radio is a stock AM that works fine. It has the Tic-Tac-Toc. The tachometer works, but the clock no longer functions. The engine runs great; there is absolutely no rust, the interior shows some wear, but very little. It now has Flowmaster dual exhausts and the correct tail pipe trumpet ends.
