If you're looking at this car, you already know the history of this sports coupe, the last that Subaru released in the 90's to current date. ITAL Designed this car and many others with a killer body style that turns heads like this car does (every time this car goes out, it is only on weekends and only when the sun is out, not when it rains, snows, or any other bad day. as you can see this car is custom built from the ground chassis to the clear coat. Volvo gold with paint sparkles (very JDM 90's look, a very popular look in Kanagawa prefecture during the mid to late 90's, I lived out there for years. so it is first hand i say this.) the Enki 18's are also matte 2 tone black inner paint with the same Volvo gold on the outward spokes. KONI adjustable coil over kit. Bluetooth enabled 1-din stereo with Alpine 75w amp and pioneer sub in the boot. leather has been treated with "leather honey" in the summer, tires have been changed out to 18" wide Dunlop M+S. Calipers are coated red. battery in the rear now as shown in picture running a red top OPTIMA. as you know these cars were only shipped with AT to the U.S. / hence this car is a custom swap consisting of WRX '06 Transmission/Pedals/Starter (if you know the history behind the OEM AT, you know this swap was necessary to avoid future rebuilds. Lets' be real...it's way better in stick flavour anyhow! rides like a bullet, handles accordingly based on weight and does have some serious pickup. speaking of which...the ECU has been swapped out for the tuned version. only problem i have now is the rear right window won't go down and the sunroof requires help to pop open, a light palm push, nothing serious I invite you to check it out (very proud of this car, that's why it sits in a covered garage year round), rails are lubed up. i recently had the front and rear diff oil swapped, 10w-40 high mileage castrol synth in the block, brakes flushed. the car has been driven <30 days in a 1 yr. period. it's 21 years old (MFG DATE: 04/91 on the door). Has a newly installed VIPER alarm system with integrated locking system using a Clifford brain unit (1 transmitter and 1 transceiver) . email me with questions, if i missed anything, let me know. MAY 06 ENTRY: Question comes up about rust and working condition: it has no "northern" rust, it was well kept just like it still is. the car is taken out on sunny weekends only or 1 workday when i have to run it to keep it maintained. Now here is something that is in the manual (Known by SUBARU) and common about these cars specifically, the starter was changed. why? because it has delay rolling the engine. it'll work on the first attempt, sometimes it takes 10 attempts. the manual has this information in it, it's in print direct from factory. look at the SVX boards for more info.
