I inherited this vehicle from my father-in-law when he passed away in 2004. He purchased the car in the mid eighties and always had it garaged. We spent 20 years working on it together when he was not driving it back and forth from freinds houses and the golf course. He had the engine rebuilt professionally in 1999 and we also made minor repairs and upgrades over the years. After his passing I lost my passion for the car and it has been sitting in my garage since I aquired it in 2004. I drove it sporadically through 2008 but it has not been on the road since then. The odometer reads 2,604 and I am guessing that is the mileage since the engine rebuild in 2004 but I have no way of knowing for sure. Please email me with any questions and I will respond promptly.On Apr-29-12 at 16:29:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Update on the mechanical Condition: Earlier today (Sunday, April 29th) I put new gas in the Model A and reset the timing. The motor fired right up and settled into a nice idle when I adjusted the spark advance. After taking a short test drive around the block to make sure all systems were go my wife and I drove a 20 mile round trip to visit the grandkids. The motor ran strong the whole way between 35 and 40 MPH. Their was plenty of torque when accelerating from a dead stop in second gear. I feel the vehicle will make a good daily driver as is.
