You are viewing a VW Kombi Bus. I’m selling this great bus as I unfortunately just don’t have the time right now to finish restoring it. It starts right up and drives fine, the brakes work good (has new master cylinder). Clutch is fine and the original 4 speed transmission shifts smooth. According to the previous owner, the motor is a 1974 1600 CC Dual Port that was just recently rebuilt. The alternator is new as well. The rocker panels were just changed along with the corner pieces and under the battery piece. Overall the body is very straight, the passenger side front door has some dents and bondo. I'm revising this listing due to contacts from eBay members stating that this VW doesn't appear to be a 1958 year model. The title says 1958 and numbers on title and in the vehicle match. There may have been a clerical mistake made at some point in the past 50 years on the registration/ title work. This VW has been registered and titled this way for at least the last nine years. According to the experts the serial numbers indicates that this vehicle is a 1963 model year vehicle. Again VIN plates on vehicle are original and unaltered as you can see from pictures. Picture of title is also shown and vehicle has a current registration. Thank you.
