Offered in this auction by Rusty Nuts Originals, is our 1954 Buick Special Traditional Rod, this is no Rat Rod! If you want something you won't see 3 of at the next local cruise in, this one's for you. This car gets tons of attenion around town, and blows the cookie cutter 57's out of the water with people crawling all over it! This a super nice car, thats just as nice inside and underneath as it looks from the outside. It has fresh hot rod black traditional single stage paint with red heavy metal flake roof. New Coker Classic wide whitewalls tha wrap black steel wheels with chrome spider center caps, they are bias ply tires, so they do take a few miles to warm up and straighten up. The seats, headliner and door panels are done in a gray tweed that really compliments the satin black paint. The dash is painted gloss black with tons of custom pinstriping, as there are also custom pieces on the hood and the trunk. The interior is nice and clean with some average foot traffic in the drivers side, this car is driven on a regular basis. The interior fit and finish is very nice and the dash is filled with chrome bezeled guages and knobs that really look nice. Its powered by a fresh 350 cui small block chevrolet V8 thats mildly built with a nice sounding and performing set of headers, an Edelbrock intake, finned valved covers, carb and breather cover thats painted a charcoal gray and has a fresh 350 turbo automatic transmission. This car runs and drives great with power steering, sounds great with turn downs underneath the car and actually has a little punch for a big girl. Best of all, you won't be spending all your Saturdays in the garage with the rest of the retirement communnity with a bottle of Mothers and the Powerball getting ready for Sundays cruise in! You can ride all weekend, show up on Sunday and put those chrome $50k retirement buggies in the shadows with everyone standing around this car!
