I hate to let it go but need the room. This '77 Triumph Spitfire 1500 is a driver, not a show car, but still looks great at 10ft and turns heads everywhere. Tons of fun for top-down fun in the sun cruising. 54,325 original miles with brand new CA SMOG certificate, valid registration and clear title. Starts effortlessly, shifts very smoothly and runs great every day. All lights and gauges work. Recent work includes: New catalytic converter New U joint/steering coupler New fuel hoses and radiator/heater/coolant hoses New water pump New fuel pump New clutch master and slave cylinders Full tune up including spark plugs, ignition coil, rotor, distributor cap, thermostat and air filter. The flaws: Original paint still shiny but has a couple of small “stars” and shows a few small cracks near driver’s door handle. Like it says above….it is a driver, not a show car but easily passes the 10ft rule….it’s just that it is original and 35 years old. If you are not good with “feathering” the clutch, it will chatter a bit in reverse but if you have a light touch, no problem. I have a light touch and don’t drive backwards a lot so I never worried about it. Soft top has 1 small cut about ½” in length. Car is always garaged and never driven in the rain. Passenger seat has 1 hole about ½ the size of a dime.
