For auction is my 1960 ford thunderbird 4-speed. It is an original San Diego car I am the second owner, I have owned the car for 9 years. The original engine and transmission have been removed and now has a 390FE with a large input/output toploader 4 speed. The car was originally a 352FE with a column shift cruiseomatic transmission. The rear end has been rebuilt with 4.11 Richmond gears, 31 spline Currie axles and a Detroit Locker. The exterior has been repainted once before but was sprayed in the original Corinthian white. The interior is partially restored with the driver side door glass broken and the door panel on that side is missing. The car was a factory non-AC ordered vehicle but does have power windows. The engine/trans/rear were all rebuilt at the same time and have about 20,000 miles on them. The motor runs very strong and the car drives very well. All brakes and suspension are factory with the exception of Cal Tracs traction bars and an oversized front sway bar. The body is in great shape, very straight. The car currently has open Ford Powertrain Applications headers for 58'-60' thunderbirds and will be sold without an exhaust system.
