This is a very rare right hand drive SL. Out of 5,196 250 SL's only 3% were right hand drives, a little over 150. I am the second owner, I bought it in 1979. It has 304,000 miles on it.It has been in San Diego Ca. for about 30 years. It has been in Gig Harbor washington for 14 years.It has always been garaged. It was restored about 28 years ago. The lower end of the engine has about 140,000 miles. The head has about 80,000 miles with up graded brass valve guides. Interior is in good shape with new German weave carpet. Exterior needs paint. Sanding and glazing only,no major body work needed. Minor door dings. The engine still runs strong. The Borg Warner transmission shifts the same as when I bought it. Put $10,000 in this car and you will have a $50,000 dollar car. Oil and filter changes about every 3000 mi.. Tranny fluid and filter changes about every 10,000 miles. I have original manual and repair books. Original trunk mat and wheel cover. I also have the original unmarked service book. I kept my maintainence records in a different book.
