Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 A real 1968 442 convertible that may have been a W30 car due to one of the chrome breather scoop brackets still attached to the frame(see pic). I have no documentation to prove. Well it will need basically everything to put back in shape. The good is the frame is solid with no issues at all. Also, even the floor braces look to be still usable. I believe the ram rod hood is savable but does have one bad spot. The deck lid might be savable depending on how much work you want to do. The Conv frame header panel is still good and solid. Comes with like new 442 Chrome Trumpet Exhaust tips pictured. The bad is it will need a new core support, new fenders, quarters and full floor pan. Trunk pan is patchable but I would go ahead and replace. Conv top is missing one bow rod. The passenger door is solid as well as the rocker underneath it(see pic) but the driver door and upper corner rocker is bad(see pic). I do have a good solid door to replace it. Also, the driver back brace will need replaced but the passenger is good. One headlight needs replaced and hood is not secure due to I only have one hood hinge. The grill needs replaced too. The car has a 12 bolt rear and comes with a 1968 455 engine with ā€œCā€ heads and an Offenhauser aluminum dual stage intake and a 3-speed trans. The carb is a Holley Square bore to match the intake but it will need rebuilt as well. The headers have no name brand on them but are of good quality with thick flanges and the tubes are not beat up. The car is originally an automatic. The engine will need completely rebuilt. It has been broke down and cleaned and taken to the machine shop. It will need to go .030 over and the crank .010 over. All engine brackets are included but not pictured. Also, the rods are good and have been numbered. All bearing caps are good as well. The car has a good Title signed over to me from the previous owner. Not interested in any trades and I will need a $300 deposit from the winning bidder at the end of the auction so as to know the winning bidder is serious. Car needs picked up within 2 weeks of auction end please. *****Attention all Low-ballers, I will never sell the car for anything under $2000 as I have $2100 in to it********
