Thank you for viewing my 1998 Mercedes Benz SL 500. This SL is finished in one of the most incredible color combinations Mercedes Benz has ever offered... BLACK OVER PALOMINO LEATHER AND PALOMINO CARPETING. The glossy black paint shines like new and has only a few minor hairline scratches and chips. The FEW blemishes are VERY minor and have been professionally touched up. The front bumper is not cracked or scarred (like many SL's on the market). There are NO scuffs, dents, or door dings on the body of this car. The soft top is in good condition, and shows very little wear. The MICHELIN ENERGY MXV4 tires were installed in January of this year and have traveled, only, 2,000 miles since then. Also, it was serviced at the same time. Just this past Friday, I had all fluids checked, a brake lamp bulb replaced and the pressure in the tires adjusted. My SL has been professionally detailed, including the engine compartment, and is ready for its new owner. The interior of this vehicle has been EXTREMELY well maintained. The leather shows very little signs of wear, and has NO cracks. The wood is in excellent condition. The carpet is in LIKE NEW condition. The original mats have always been covered, and look BRAND NEW. The dashboard and all plastic areas are glossy and free of cracks. The only wear worth mentioning on the interior is minor scratches on the small plastic plates surrounding the power seat adjustment buttons on each door panel. This is very common, as these plastic plates were painted and did not hold up well. The BOSE radio and speakers are powerful and clear. The OPTIONAL SIX DISC CD CHANGER operates as it should. All gauges and buttons function properly. All other interior features operate as they should. This SL500 drives, and rides, like a true Mercedes Benz. Fast, solid, safe and sound.
