Up for auction is a 1964 International 1 ton 4-wheel drive truck. This truck has been sitting for awhile now and the owner wishes to move it. I am listing it for him so I am posting what info I know and potential bidders are always welcome with questions and I will get the answers to them. The truck is pretty much complete and can either be had for parts or a great candidate for a restore for the International Harvester enthusiast. The cab does have rust to be dealt with if restoration is desired. The windshield has no cracks or chips but is milky around the edges. Side glass has been pelted with BBs. Both doors open, but the hinges operate loosely on the driver's side especially. The cab, fenders hood and grille are all saveable in my opinion. All the running gear is there and complete, including the 345 V-8 2-bbl, manual trans, transfer case, front and rear drive axles and even has a dump unit for the flatbed... The engine does turn over by hand but not by the key so wiring needs to be tended to. This truck could be a real brute if restored to running/driving condition.... The rarity of the beast combined with the completeness warrant a more than fair starting bid of $500 with no reserve. The current owner will provide a bill of sale, buyer is responsible for pick-up and transportation.
