****1940 PACKARD COUPE**** ***STREET ROD*** **DRIVES GREAT** **NO RESERVE AUCTION** This 1940 Packard Coupe would make a great car for someone to finish restoring..You make this an awesome street rod or a cool rat rod..Let me start out by saying the car drives great..I put a chevrolet rear end and a chevrolet camaro front clip underneath to give it that great drive ability..The 350 engine is bored .30 over with flat top pistons eyebrowed(about 355cubic inch):10.5 to 1 compression ratio;mild hydraulic cam;cast steel crank;new custom built aluminum radiator and a turbo 350 transmission with floor shifter..The car really does drive out and shift very well..It is a very smooth ride.Mechanically the car is done right..The body is an all steel body with just white paint sprayed on it..The bodys not in bad shape.You caould turn this into one beautiful street rod or rat rod it..It has some nice rally wheels with almost new tires...I have the front chrome bumper and the side skirts for the engine bay as you can see in the pictures..The interior is complete and in good shape..I put some new carpet,new door panels and new headliner in about two weeks ago. It has has a full leather bench seat..This car is not a perfect car by no means and needs to be restored but it is a good driver the way it sits..Thats the great thing you can drive this one as you finsih it..Dont miss out on this one..The 1940 Packard Coupes are very rare and sharp looking cars..It also has front disc brakes with rack n pinion and tilt shift steering..The blinkers,hazard lights and running lights work fine..
