1978 Mercury zephyr wagon. This car originally was a 2.3 4 speed car. the only options it came with is rear window defroster and the villager package "wood grain". Has manual steering and manual brakes from factory. Car now has a 1970 302, world class t5 5speed trans and an 8.8 trac lock rear w 410 gears. The 1970 302 looks like a brand new engine on the outside but in reality needs to be rebuilt, has a noise on start up probably a main or rod bearing. Engine has an edelbrock performer intake, Holley 650 double pumper carb, MSD distributor,MSD 6AL ignition box MSD helicore wires, summit full length headers and a 2 1/2" flowmaster exhaust. About a year ago the engine was removed and the entire engine compartment was sanded and painted properly with a spray gun. It looks like a brand new engine compartment. The body is in good condition for its age some rust starting on rear wheel wells very fixable though. The original paint is getting thin in places and should be redone also the woodgrain is showing its age with the worst area being the rear hatch. The interior is in decent condition with the exception of the front seats which have tears in them. I have seat covers on them. also has autometer gauges. Last fall I converted the car to 5 lug using brand new Ranger rotors and 10" drums. Car has 1999-04 Bullitt wheels of which 2 are nice and 2 have some rash. Front tires are good and Back tires have about 4/32nds of tread left. anyone who is seriously interested should give me a call at 570-262-5058. My names Chris Thanks for looking.
