Up for sale is a nice 1986 Isuzu Trooper ,Turbo D Diesel, 2 Door, 5 speed, 4X4 Model Please read the following for a thorough description as well as requirements for purchasing the vehicle I require $1000 deposit to be made thru PayPal at the end of the auction - if you fail to do so, I will allow the next highest bidder the vehicle. I require the balance of the purchase price to be made within a week of the close of the auction - bit will hold the SUV for 30 days free of charge until it can be picked up. Please watch the following videos of the Trooper - one is a walkaround and cranking - the other is the Trooper driving in a residential area This Trooper is in overall good condition. The motor has just turned 200,000 on the odometer. It has the ultra reliable Isuzu 2.2 Diesel that has been known to give over 500,000 miles of service. What other 4x4 SUV can you get that will give high 20 to mid 30 mpgs?It is mated from the factory to the Garrett Turbo Charger System to give it extra power - especially evident when climbing hills, grade, under excelleration, etc. As you can see by the pictures and the video the body is straight and rust free. The interior is also in better than average condition with uncracked dash, moderate wear on the drivers seat, minor wear on the passenger seat an rear seat, clean cargo area, all clean - crack free glass. Sound comes from 4 speaker an a Pioneer AM / FM Cassette player and is adequate. Front windows roll up an down properly - rear widows slide open and closed as they should. Power Steering works as it should with no leaks. 5 speed transmission shifts thru all 5 forward gears an reverse as it should. Turbo spools properly. Engine has good power, good oil pressure, idles smoothly and does not have blowby. Injection Pump does not leak. The bad is as follows: Driver door and fender have been repainted at some point an do not look as good as the rest of the vehicle - the door has paint peeling off about the size of your hand in one place - a cheap repaint on these two panels would do wonders for its overall appearance Tires with are nearly new as far as wear goes, have pretty defined dry cracks inbetween the treads - unsure of how this effects the integrity of the tires - may last a long time in a farm use application A/C is all in tact and clutch will engage by using a jumper wire - but will need repair to fully operable again - but with front windows own and rear windows slid open, the vehicle gets quite a bit of airflow circulating Front seal leaks oil - this is somewhat typical on most diesel with this type of age If I have left anything out, please ask and I will try to post an answer for all to see as quickly as possible. This would be an awesome farm vehicle or for use as a hunting buggy or offroading rig. These Isuzu's love biodiesel as well if riding for free is your thing. Good luck bidding.
