Up for auction is my 1989 Mustang GT Convertible. I have owned this car since 1999 and have only put 5000 miles on it since my purchase. It has always been covered and garaged in my possession. The exterior color is a dark red, the interior has black/red/white leather door panels, white leather seats and red carpet. The over all condition of the exterior and interior is just below great and well above good for a 23 year old car with original paint and interior. The details, the motor is all stock except for the JBA headers, the transmission was replaced with approximately 1000 miles ago with and upgraded AOD automatic with shift kit, rated for 650 hp, I do still have the receipt for the tranny $1,200. The tires are in great shape probably around 2000 miles since they were put on. It has a custom sound system, Alpine, 1000 watt power plate, 15 subwoofer (see pictures) all professsional install and sounds awesome, I paid $1500 for the stereo system not including installation. It has new shock/struts and steering rack put on last year. The bad, the engine check light comes on after running 10 -15 minutes and the convertible top would need tobe replaced to make her perfect. This is definetely and adult owned car, never raced or run hard in my possession. The reason I am selling her is because I have a contract on a property and need the extra cash to move. I purchased the car with 124,6xx miles from a dealer in Manheim. I can't explain why from Dec.99 - Mar.2001 the car went from 19,110 to 124,483 though it is apparent that from 3/14/2001 to 3/22/2001someone missed putting the 1 in front of 24,483 which was the cause of the flag. I purchased the car 06/04/2001 with 124,613 on the car and used it as a weekend driver until the tranny went out in 2004. It sat in my garage until 2009 when I finally got around to putting in the new tranny. I have the title in hand and it is clear, I do believe the mileage is accurate now at 133k, as I said before its just a toy for me and only driven a couple times a year.
