My son, whom collects older BMWs found the car and purchased it in 2011 from the original owners wife with 44K on it, he immediately put the car in a local shop (see receipt) and replaced the Timing Belt, Water Pump and tensioner pulley, all belts and hoses, adjusted the valves, converted the air conditioning to R134 and performed all other maintenance. This car is perfect mechanically. The clock and trip computer function as they should, the system check system functions as it should, all the tools are in the emergency box in the trunk, the hand crank sunroof works properly and seals tight, the air is cold and ride is smooth. The paint is still shinny and glossy . There are 2 imperfections on the body, a 1 inch crease on the passenger side headlamp area, and a small area above the rear bumper pushed in slightly. The blue cloth interior is near perfect with no tears rips or worn spots. This is an obvious true miles car and is ready to go anywhere and offer years of use.
