1971 Volkwagen Super Beetle. I am the second owner of this little car. My grandfather bought it new in 1971. I have the original sales receipt and all maintenance records since new. Garage kept since driven home from the car lot. I have owned it since 1993 and only have put a little over 10000 miles on it. This little car still starts up and drives just fine. Runs good and has the semi-automatic transmission which still works great. This car is not perfect, but it is in really nice shape. No frame or body rust at all. Paint is ok, was re-painted the original color in 1993. Interior is in ok shape too. Original seats, new carpet which needs to be fixed up (great shape, needs to be adhesived to the sides). headliner is in good condition. Everything works right down to the original AM radio. Glove box insert needs to be replaced, which i have a new one included, just needs to be installed. Lots of extra parts included including all new window rubber. Tires have less than 10000 miles on them. Still tagged in Delaware til next year. As stated, this car is not perfect, but wouldnt take too much to get there. All glass is in good shape, no cracks or chips. Only other issue worth mentioning is you have to use a pair of pliars to release the truck from the glove box due to the lining being shot. But like I stated above, there is a brand new liner included so that will resolve that problem.
