I cant believe im doing this but here it goes....I have a very clean 1992 mustang gt convertable for sale. I have owned this car for several yrs and love it. The overall condition is very good but not perfect it has a couple minor nicks and scratches and the grey on the backbumper needs to be repainted but other then that she turns heads whenever i take it out. The car was the 7 up addition colors and i think only around 3000 gt cars were built in this combination. The top is only a few yrs old as well as the leather interior. I also put brand new 17 inch pony r wheels with nitto tires on last yr. The car has a vortec s trim supercharger pushing a conservative 8 psi and has been on the car 8 yrs with not a single issue. It also has bbk equal length ceramic headers and new last yr a 3000$ tremec tko 600 tranny and aluminum drive shaft. It also has a steeta short throw shifter and moser axles with 410 gears. The ol girl sounds awesome with an off road H pipe and flowmasters. I would trust this car to make it to california and back, it has been just as reliable as my toyotas. It does have air conditioning but it needs to be recharged other then that all the bells and whistles work. This car wasnt hacked like alot of stangs out there. This was the car to beat when i was back in high school and with the vortec charger its still a contender. The boost on the charger is adjustable by changing the top pulley. It is capable of generating 18 psi but a stock block will only handle roughly 12 psi safely. As it sits she is pushing around 400 ponies but it will gain 40 horse with every 2 psi. If your local you are welcome to stop over and inspect the car and hell i might even let you drive it. I have only let 2 people drive it since ive owned it and one was the previous owner who is a friend of mine. The car has never been raced or beat the occasional burnout was pretty much the worst. Ive only put about a thousand miles a yr on the car and the car is eligible for collectors insurance. It cost me under 200 a yr for full coverage and they insure it at full value which they estimated it at 13,500. I also have some brand new door trim i bought for my 89 that i will throw in. I sold my 89 last wk for 5k and it needed a top and the complete interior was gutted. The only reason im selling my cars is because id like to buy a new boss 302 and at 40k i need a good down payment to keep those payments reasonable.
