For sale, 1997 used MERCURY VILLAGER. Sold for parts only. Van is clean and has been operational. Due to a recent passing, we now have acquired another vehicle. So, the van has to go. Van needs work, but not willing to invest the time or money. Therefore, sold as parts vehicle only. Mileage 250,000. Here's the positive features: Interior in good shape, not brand new, but no tears or holes. Vehicle clean inside, non smoker. Could use a good shampoo. Vehicle has working air conditioning and heat. Within the last 8 months replaced spark plugs, wires and distributor. Tires in good shape with plenty of tred. Here's the work that's necessary: Transmission pan needs new seals - Transmission oil leaks. When filled with transmission oil, van shifts and runs fine. Vehicle needs tune-up. A mechanic or knowledgeable person needs to reset the trouble-shooting codes in the computer so vehicle can pass inspection. Vehicle needs a new battery because it hasn't been driven most of the winter. Body in good shape for its age. For example has stone chips and a pin scratch on drivers side. Windshield wiper sprayer arm missing from drivers side. Sprayer still works. Due to the necessary work to make the vehicle street operational, selling vehicle as parts vehicle only.
