Great running, solid and straight, V8 automatic van, ready for cosmetic restoration or hauling as is! This Dodge A108 van was originally a Corey Cruiser camper conversion, sold at Dodge dealers. It has the high fiberglass top and windows, Custom Sportsman trim (stainless exterior trim, wheelcovers, chrome bumpers, deluxe dash and door panels), and six doors (driver, passenger, two rear doors and two passenger side doors), making it a very versatile and useable van. This van also has the best powertrain offered in the various A100/A108 vans and pickups, the 318 V8 with 3-speed automatic transmission. Best of all, this van has POWER STEERING, which is VERY rare to find on an A100/A108. It makes all the difference driving this van with the power steering. The original 3.91 rear was also replaced with a 2.76 rear several years ago, making the van accelerate and cruise very comfortably, and more economically. The odometer/speedometer were not converted, so they under-read the mileage; the change was made with just under 49000 miles on the van, which now reads just under 51000, so I estimate the actual mileage to be approximately 52000 -- which very low mileage is also evident from the way the engine runs, shifts, and drives, and the condition of the original seats. It also has the original driver and passenger seats, in very good condition. The rest of the (camper) interior has been removed several years ago, leaving a huge wide open space for hauling, or for creating your own retro camper mobile! The van starts, stops, runs and drives, shifts, and steers great -- it is a great vehicle to drive. The only known mechanical issues are that the wipers and turn signals currently do not work. The body on the van is very straight and original, with original two tone copper and beige paint, and appears to have had only very minor body repair over its life (on the passenger side, where paint and minor body fill is cracking). The van is very solid, with very little rust; the areas with rust are in the rain gutter just above the drivers door, and a very small amount ahead of and behind the drivers wheel, and the area above the one rear door and the door itself. I will include in the buy-it-now (or higher auction) price a straight, rust free replacement rear door (this is the stand alone rear door in the photos). I have and will also include the missing upper stainless trim on the passenger side. Overall, the body will require very little prep work if you choose to paint the van. This great van can be driven as is, or while you decide on your own custom retro camper conversion. Please look at the photos, and contact me with any questions.
