I have a rare 1965 mercury comet cyclone barn find up for auction, The car has been in storage and off the road since 1991. It has the stock 289 engine with a 4 barrel carb and manifold,Cyclone Tachometer, automatic C4 tranny, bucket seats ,center console,cyclone hubcaps and a very rare vinyl roof option. This car is NOT a rust bucket it has been in storage and off the road for 21 years. The interior is still in great shape with no ripps in the seats or headliner or carpet. All the emblems are there nothing is missing or taken off. The radio works,the horns work,the lights work everything is working and functional. This car was not hit or bent up in any way original colors are red with a black interior all stock! The engine is still strong, it doesn't smoke or knock, the tranny shifts good and not slipping. The bumpers are still good and not all bent up,all the cyclone emblems and badges are still there, nothing is missing. The floor boards front and back are solid ,the trunk and engine and frame rails are solid with no rust. The quarters are appear to be good and solid and can easily be made like new. If your looking for a true 1965 cyclone with an easy restoration then this is it. All this car needs is to be freshened up ,paint and body work to make it a show car along with a new vinyl top.
