I am selling this car for a friend of mine who bought the car new in 1971 (original owner). Car spent the first 20 years of its life in Cali. Then in 1991 car was brought here to Pennsylvania and has been sitting in a garage ever since never seen pavement he in PA. These are the facts about car that was given to me (this was all done right before car was brought to PA.) Motor rebuilt, new complete exhaust system, new front seats, and a full paint job. No sign of rust or scratches in paint anywhere. Original front and rear chrome bumpers they look amazing,as do the original VW hubcaps all 8 of them. (spare set) All rubber seals are fresh around every window. Original spare tire and truck is next to perfect. All 4 tires are in good shape. Entire electrical system works (brand new Battery) Interior is in great original shape besides the new front seats, head liner has 1 small hole. New fuel pump and lines New steeringbox Car starts up with 1 turn of key every time and shifts fine. Now to the parts that have just been put on this past month to pass state inspection (this is due from sitting for 20 years) Complete brake system (Master,lines,hoses,caliper,pads,drums,rotor's ect.). Also Rear Diff was leaking-new seals installed. I know I'm forgetting something so if I did ask questions please. I can also send more photos in a couple of days.
