What you are looking at is a rare VW Vanagon camper van. It is a Syncro which is hard to find as it is and its an Adventurewagen which you dont see many of either. This thing is in pretty unbelievable original condition, especially for its age. The body is in great shape except for the three rust spots you can see in the pictures (2 by the windshield and one on the back window) and it was rubbed up against a camping spot marker on the sliding door which you should be able to see in the pictures of it. It was spray painted over where the scratches were so it wouldn't rust and it doesn't look as bad as it sounds as you should be able to see in the pictures. The interior including the wood is all in great shape to. I took pictures of all minor damage or wear it has on the inside and outside so there shouldn't be any surprises when the winner gets it. Also I dont mind if anyone wants to come and see it for there selves before they bid on it. Its had some upgrades over the years like Big Brakes which also meant it had to have 15" wheels put on so they would fit. The tires were put on when the rims were put on so they will need to be replaced soon. Also one of the wheels is a little scuffed up as you can see in the pictures but you can still get these wheels so its easy to replace. There was also a hitch receiver put on so a seadoo jet ski could be pulled behind it. These upgrades were all done by GoWesty with receipts. I have most if not all of the service records going all the way back to 1988 along with the original manuals, booklets for the camping equiptment, added & addable accessories and some literature about these vans which I have also included pictures of so you can have an idea of just what condition this van is in and how it was taken care of since the beginning. The van also runs and drives GREAT. You really dont feel like your driving a 25 year old VW. Its currently registered in California and come with a Clean California title. It has the original water cooled VW engine that runs great and all the 4 wheel drive equiptment is intact and works great as well. This is a manual 4 speed transmission plus low gear for the 4 wheel drive so it has reverse, low, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears. All the camping equiptment is also in great shape and works to. It also has the original wood floor as well. This van really needs to be seen in person and driven so you can see just how great of shape it is really in. All the guages, lights, speedometer, tach and even the clock still work. This is a really well maintained, documented original VW Syncro camper van that will not dissapoint! It has the main bed on the inside plus the upper bunk so you can sleep upto 4 people inside. It has a built in propane tank, fridge, 2 burner stove, sink, heater, water tank, holding tank, moniter panel, main and auxiliary battery. I dont really know what elso to say except Come and Take a look at our VW and see what you think for yourself! If you cant make it out here to see it for your self I dont mind if you want to have it inspected. You can see by my 100% positive feedback that I am an honest person! I like having 100% on here and plan on keeping it that way so I have tried to think of everything I can about our van. In my opinion the van shows better in person then in the pictures (not the other way around)! I live in Antioch California and that is where the van can be seen, tested or inspected. The nearest airports to where I live is Oakland, San Francisco and Sacramento. Oakland is the closest and easiest to get to and I can pick you up if you want to fly in to see it or pick it up if you win it. Cashiers checks can usually be cashed the next day but if you check with your bank you can verify that they still take upto 10 business days to completely clear from your bank to mine.
