Runs cool - shifts well, for age, interior looks good – the headliner is holding up – but there is a small pocket in the back so that will eventually need to be re-done. No tears in the seats - really decent little car. Current emissions – and if you are a Georgia buyer, the taxes and emission are good through October. A great running car – need a few cosmetic issues resolved – but VERY solid and reliable transportation. Gets almost 40MPG on the interstate. ALWAYS SMOKE FREE OWNERS. Not working - AC compressor runs – but no cold air. Crack in the windshield that traveled – needs to be replaced – priced it out for $180 locally – but I don’t want to pay more to sell it. It is a reliable car – great starter car or commuter car. I would trust it to drive to California with NO issues. MORE INFORMATION: Engine replaced with 148K mile engine about a year ago. The tensioner failed and my daughter did not notice it overheated - very quickly and cracked the block – so we paid $2200 for a replacement engine that is doing great – does not leak oil or burn oil – have not had to add oil between changes. The radiator was also replaced at the same time and a new tensioner was added. (We are selling ONLY because my daughter upgraded to a 2001 same model Saturn!) Complete brake system done on front and back brakes, rotors drums and pads about a year and a half ago. Tires at about 85-90% - a lot of life in them! The rims are scuffed – but are the alloy rims which was an upgrade for this model rather than the plastic covers. Spare and jack are in the trunk - the console cover is broken – but again, cosmetic. Few scuffs and dings – please consult pictures. Have records for past 4 years. Please Ask questions early as I typically do not follow close of auction.
