Vehicle Detail
Classic Cars is offering another wonderful street rod. This 1933 Ford 5 window is a past Dallas Autorama winner. This is a steel body with full leather interior, blown 400 Cu In small block V8, A/C, a TCI Stage III Chassis and quick change rear end to name a few. Properly called “Progrape”, the car even smells like a grape when running thanks to a fuel additive! All of the paint and body work on the car was done at H&H Street Rods. They started with an original ‘33 Ford steel body, chopped the top, stretched the grill and gave it an amazing purple paint job with metallic flames. Both doors shut tight and with little effort. The trunk and doors all have equal, straight gaps throughout. The TCI Stage III Chassis has been painted to match the rest of the car and looks great. All front suspension pieces are chromed as well as the rear shocks. Inside, the interior was done by veteran upholsterer Bob Sipes who has many award winning cars under his belt and it shows with this car. The purple theme is carried inside with matching flames on both the door panels as well as the headliner. The flames are all finished in purple suede. Seats are adjustable and are finished in white leather with purple “33 PROGRAPE” insignia on both headrests. Guages are all from VDO and work with no problems with the exception of the speedometer which is currently not hooked up. The steering column is tilt and has a great looking Colorodo Customs steering wheel. Under the hood, the supercharged small block V8 runs great. Powered by a B&M roots blower and Holley carb, the car is a rocket on the street and sounds great coming out of the dual exhaust. This is an aluminum head V8 that is A/C equipped. Even the compressor is purple! The transmission is a 400 turbo that goes back to a quick change rear end. The underside of the car is nicely detailed and what would you expect from an Autorama show winner. The frame and underside of the body is painted the same purple as the body. While not in perfect show winning form, the underside is extremely clean and shows that the car has actually been driven rather than just being a trailer queen. This is a great driving street rod that is a guaranteed show winner and is sure to make everyone look when they smell you driving by. The VIN Number is 18394776 and the car is titled as a 1933 Ford on a clean Florida title.
