Vehicle Detail
[Photo notes: that's frost on the hood (paint shines like the rest of the truck); the truck is dirty, so take that into account when you look at the photos!]What can I say? This is a solid, strong-running truck. Not a rust bucket. Has Heavy Duty EVERYTHING (HD rear end; tranny, oil, and steering coolers, etc.). Spray-in bed liner. EVERY option except leather (overhead console; fog lights (non-op right now); power seat, mirrors (heated), windows, locks; remote keyless entry; rear window defroster). Tow package. Alloy wheels with good (60%+) General AT2 tires. Four-wheel drive works great (and has a lever, not those stupid push-buttons they put in trucks these days). 4.7L V8 motor and 4-speed automatic transmission. Can tow some gawd-aweful amount for a "compact truck" and carry almost a ton in the bed (I've never used it for either). Four full doors with a back seat you can USE for REAL people! Runs strong, shifts great, even with 172,000 miles on the clock. Duraliner on rockers and underside from PO. No rot-through anywhere, very little rust for a truck. Has normal dents, dings, etc. and some small damage to the front bumper/grill (no problems with AC or radiator).I have the build sheet from Dodge if you want to see everything that's on this truck from the factory. The bad: PS pump leaks (seems to have stopped since the weather warmed up) Needs shocks Needs rear brakes (drums, shoes, etc.) Driver's door may eventually need lower skin replaced due to rust Inspection (NH) runs out this month and I won't be renewing it (bought a Jeep last weekend)...I bought this in October and used it as a family car over the winter. Was going to trade it for a Jeep, but I'm selling instead. Dealer was going to give me $3000+ for it. NADA Guide's "rough" trade-in value is $3100 + (this takes into account possible "major mechanical problems"). Buy it now or MAKE ME YOUR BEST OFFER. Available any time the week to look at, start up, and inspect if you are in Midcoast Maine. I would NOT recommend driving it home because of the brakes (but I won't stop you - I drove it like this for a while before anything seemed wrong... so I was driving with no rear brakes for the better part of the winter!). I have the title IN HAND, in MY name, NO liens and ready to GO. Will be sold as-is, where is. If you want to buy it and leave it in my driveway for a week while you figure out logistics of taking her home, just let me know and we'll arrange something. I've been as honest as I can. The truck is really a NICE truck - if I wasn't looking for a Jeep for the last 6 weeks I would just fix the truck and drive it another year.
