Vehicle Detail

For sale is a 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe with a 289 V8 engine and 3 speed manual transmission. This car was purchased by me in November 2010 for a restoration project. I am moving out of state and must sell the car as soon as possible. There is no reserve and I have started the bidding well below the market value of the car for a fast sale. Since the car is in various stages of restoration and assembly, the car is being sold AS IS with no returns or refunds. Ask questions early and often. I will e-mail pictures of anything you want upon request. Based on my limited work with the car, I believe it is a good candidate for restoration.**Fully Assembled Pictures are for Illustration Purposes Only" This is how the car would look fully assembled. VIN: 7R01C227819 Based on the Marti Report (available upon request) the car had the following original features: · Sports Sprint Package · 3 speed manual transmission · 6.95X14-4 ply Rated Tires · White Rayon Sidewall Tires · Rocker Panel Molding · Power Steering · Air Conditioner – Selectaire · AM Radio · Tinted Glass · Wheel Covers General Condition · The car was last started in August 2011 and there were no problems starting at that time. · There are two main fluid leaks that I can see (not to say there are not others I have not identified). Oil leak from the oil pan/drain plug. Coolant leak from somewhere around the intake manifold (collects on the timing cover). · Based on smell, there appears to be an exhaust leak, but the location has not been identified yet · The underside is free of any cancerous rust that I can see and the floor pans were replaced at some point prior to my ownership. · The carburetor/manifold are Edelbrock 4 barrel (obviously unoriginal to the car) · The inner fender panel (battery side) was removed due to rust issues from the battery. I have a new panel and battery tray ready to be installed that are included. · The passenger fender, grill and front bumper were removed for access purposes. All pieces and parts are present and included. · The exterior paint looks good from 20 feet but does have some chips and scratches · Many of the exterior chrome pieces are pitting (mirrors, trim, etc…) · Interior was re-done in black by previous owner. I cannot speak to the quality of the job, but it looks decent enough · The entire dash has been disassembled, but all pieces are included Work Completed by Me or Professional Mechanic · Driver’s side Motor Mount Replaced · New intake manifold gasket (professionally)· New thermostat and gasket · New water pump (professionally) Included new parts · Wood grain steering wheel · 1 motor mount with hardware · Oil pan gasket · Chrome air cleaner · Driver's side inner fender panel · Oil Pan Drain Plug Shipping/Delivery Buyer is responsible for pickup and delivery of the vehicle. The vehicle must be picked up within 10 days of auction end. Payment Methods · Money Order (Pickup cannot occur until cleared) · Cashier’s check · Personal Check (Pickup cannot occur until cleared) · Cash in person · PayPal (2.9% surcharge applies) Questions All questions are welcome. I am not a mechanic or restoration expert, however I will answer everything to the best of my ability. Please ask all questions prior to bidding!
