For Sale is my 1993 Ford Festiva. This Festiva has a 1.3L engine and with the 5 speed transmission. The body is in fair condition, no crashes, no dents, and has been painted about 1 year ago. It is a New Mexico original which means NO RUST. The paint is not perfect, from a scale of 1-10 I'd say its an 8, it does have a few small scuffs and small chips. The bumpers were just painted over without being fixed up or smoothed out before hand. It was painted this way because later on I was going to have custom bumpers made for it. The Engine was recently rebuilt about 1 year ago. It was taken to a machine shop and stripped down completely and rebuilt with all new components: main bearings, rod bearings, oil pump, thrust washers, piston rings, new pistons, the cylinder head had a valve job done on it, completely all new gaskets and oil seals, new hydraulic lifters, new water pump, new timing belt with components. The transmission was serviced and completely cleaned on the outside. A New clutch kit was installed. The mileage on the dash was at 000012 when we dropped the rebuilt engine in it. So you can keep track of the mileage on the engine just by subtracting 12 miles. Anew Catalytic converter was installed. The Title is a CLEAN TITLE. It is marked as not actual mileage. Other than that it is a regular clean title. The Suspension has also been service about 1 year ago. All bushings that needed replacement were replaced and it has all four shock absorbers KYB's replaced also with 3 strut mounts. The Brakes were also done on the front and rear. It has size 14" tires on it - originally it should have 12"s. I looked for a long time to find the exact size that would fit on the car as big as I could go. Special wheel studs were ordered and installed in the front and rear to extend them at least 1/2 an inch so that the rims could fit without scraping any edges. They scratch lightly with 3 or 4 people in the car. The tires are also about 1 year old but have the mileage that the dash says. The interior is in really nice shape. The seats were sent to get reupholstered to match the paint. The carpet is in nice shape and there are no cracks on the dash. A dash cover protects it from the sun. The windows have been tinted to the darkest without being illegal in the state of New Mexico. I think the front windows are 30% and the rear windows are 20% - I'm not sure but I know that the set up is legal here. The car is very economic and I get about 32 MPG driving in town. The heater works good and so does the A/C. The speedometer makes a noise, I have another cable to switch it out with. It has a vibration on the brake pedal when you depress it, I had the brakes done and think that the tires may need to be balanced. These are the only major flaws.
